Install the top bar it was strange and difficult than it should be, opened the screws do not seem to understand the main unit. Otherwise, installation was easy. Looking through the slats to see light through the back, which seems not right. And you see the foam that lines of the unit carefully and return both parts. So that's where they saved about $ $. With polystyrene exposed as I do not think I would leave the window unit to venture on a New York winter. It does not seem to be airtight. It will cool the room. The fan speeds are high, and higher launch. Not quite a "low" option, and it is not silent, but I would like white noise when I sleep anyway. My next phone will have a far, however, and a digital thermometer that does not possess. But this is a little richer and a better economy Until then, it will have no problem. The only thing I wish it had a thermostat to regulate temperature. Must continually turn on and off manually to keep the room at the correct temperature. He does a great job though.
