Let me start and say; the A/C works just great. The louvers will not turn upward, but this is a minor problem and we will have Electrolux (parent company) come in to fix it. The only thing negative I could find about the hardware is the remote conrol does not have the ability to change the fan speeds, otherwise it works just fine. The big problem we had with this was the installation. The install manual had MOST of the information correct. The fact that some of the graphics and photos were not correct, added about 3 hours to the install. Most of that time spent on the phone trying to find someone that actually knew something about the install procedure other than what they were reading off their 'What To Say To The Stupid Customer' documentation. As an engineer, I asked to speak to one of the higher level techs. Tech support desks never like to hear that request. Due to that stonewalling, there was alot of wasted time on the phone learning how little they knew. We eventually did get the install complete in spite of the customer support. I am very happy with the A/C and would recommend it... If you're handy or can afford to have a professional install it. See all 1 customer reviews...
