Savage Ok, the hardware on this is so far very nice and a pretty good value for what I paid for it. The big problem is the installation manual. This thing does not tell you enough information so you are constantly having to undue all the progress you made by going unhooking lines, bending straight the liquid and gas lines, detaching the indoor unit, figuring out what the instructions are not telling you. Putting it all back together, hanging the inside unit back up then finding the next thing that in instructions didn't tell you about then repeating the process. It should have taken me only a few hours to install but instead took me the whole weekend. Klimaire needs to step it up on the instructions. But until then let me tell you the my installation steps to help get you though. 1. Unpackage everything (obviously) 2. Remove the metal mounting plate hanger off of the back of the inside unit and find where you want to have the indoor unit hanging. (the instructions will tell you about the placement restrictions) 3. Using a level with bubble indicator or electronic or an app installed on your phone, level the metal hanger and mark where you want to your screws to go. Try and hit at least one stud, the rest of the screws, use drywall screws. I think mine are rated for 50 lbs. 4. Take the inside unit and hang it on the mounting plate hanger taking care not to snap it into the bottom hooks because then you will need a metal flat stock bent at a 90° angle to get in there to release the snap. 5. Use a pencil and outline the bottom right hand corner of the indoor unit. That is where the hole in the wall is going to be. 6. Remove the indoor unit from the hanger. 7. Use a nice long masonry drill bit (I used ¼") that will get you though the cement and stucco on the outside of the house and drill at about the center of where the lines will be coming out of the inside unit. Drill at a slight downward angle until the drill bit comes out the outside wall. 8. Take a drywall cutting saw and make a generous sized opening (at least 2 ½" in diameter) around the whole you drilled being sure not to go outside of the outline you made with your pencil. 9. Now go to the outside of the house and cut a 2 ½ diameter hole at the same angle using a 2 ½" carbide edged hole cutter to get through the stucco. 10. Go back inside and carefully straighten out the insulated metal liquid and gas lines as well as the grey water drain hose until they are pointing straight out the back of the indoor unit. 11. Now, this is the part that is nowhere to be found in the manual: Remove all the tape on the indoor unit, you know the pieces that keep things from opening up during shipping? 12. Open up the front cover. On the right hand side there will be a screw that when removed allows you to remove a cover. Do that. 13. Once you got that cover off there will be another screw that you remove that allows you to remove yet another cover. Do that as well. 14. Now you will see some electrical connectors with numbers, letters, and combination of numbers and letter. 15. Get the electrical wires out of the packaging and fish them through the back, through the little access hole thing until they come out to where the connectors are. 16. Each wire is labeled where it needs to go so use a small flathead screwdriver and connect them to all the right places. 17. Now close everything up putting all the covers back in place and closing the main front cover. 18. Take the ribbon and electrical tape the comes with the unit and wrap the two electric cables, the insulated metal liquid and gas lines, the water drain hose, and that little electric wire with the connector on the end. Wrap them tightly together until you get to the end of the little wire connector. 19. Feed the two electrical lines through the hole you made
