By pastorjfa This air conditioner is very nice and actually will fit in a larger window than the directions say without creating any gaps. It seems well made and the directions are pretty straight forward. The only reason it didn't get a 5 was the seal which goes under the top bracket. I defy someone to put this on without getting a good dose of the seal stuck to your hands. Baumann Start with the positives: For an air conditioner, appearance wise, this is a real looker. Also, very easy to install, and definitely cools the room (med sized bedroom). Negatives: The motor is loud and gets on my nerves; seems to be less vocal when the fan is on high. Speaking of the fan settings, they state low, medium, high. In reality, it's extra low, low, and medium. I really wanted to love this air conditioner, but unfortunately, I don't. 3 Stars for appearance and efficiency. -2 Stars for loudness and fan speeds. 5 of 7 people found the following review helpful. Missing features. By J. Orvis After I purchased this unit from amazon I noticed on whirlpool's website that this model does not have many features that amazon claims it to have. It does have a remote but it does not have 6th sense tech. and it doesn't have smart touch buttons, or the ability to program it.
