Customer Reviews more useful 19 of 19 people found the following review helpful. 2 Ton 24,000 Btu Ductless Mini-Split Air Conditioner AC Unit heat pump system + free shipping + free installation kit for one, I had this unit installed for about 3 weeks. Overall I am very happy. The unit received four days earlier than expected and in good condition and packaging. The items were as advertised, except that it actually came with 25 'line, not 15'. Installation was not difficult. Although the instructions are not always clear, a litle common sense and looking for the parts generally worked well. (The instructions can use the proof reading by someone who actually speaks English and preferably something about A / C, but they were better than many translations now days). The unit cools my bonus 350 / 4 and 500 M ² M ² garage faster than the CA / home cool in the house. My only complaint is that the fans never turn off the car or the cooling mode for one reason or another A / C, but will not kick off the ventilator. In the heat and chemical forms of fan starts when the room reaches the appropriate temperature. It's a bit frusterating when I turn off the unit if I do not want to waste energy when I do not have space to garden. The unit's saving grace, though there have been about 100 degrees. F at the last time the space to cool to around 78 degrees for about 8 minutes, so it's no problem to leave it out if I did not use the space. The pre-loaded system and flush lines are a great idea and it works! This is absolutely no need for a plumber or specialy tools or equipment. I would say it is one of the most important features of this system. I would recommend this unit, although it seems that the price of $ 400 USD higher, since I bought it a few months ago. It's still a good value. UPDATE: If you run the unit on "dry" mode, the fan will only run when the A/C pump is running, as opposed to "cool" mode, where the fan runs non-stop but the A/C pump will cycle on and off as needed Because "dry" mode does exactly what I wanted, I would increase my rating of the product from "4" to "5." 14 of 14 people found the following review helpful. Nice cool and quiet By Anoosh Moadab Although the instruction say it should be installed by a specialist, I installed it myself. I watch a lot of home improvement shows like This Old House. I used this for a cabin in the foothills. For power I am using a generator. The unit is quiet on the inside, and not too bad on the outside. It is mostly the humming of the generator that I have work on. Most of all the unit does cool well. We hit 100 degrees over the weekend, so we moved into the cabin, and within 10 minutes it had 700 square feet cooled. 5 of 5 people found the following review helpful. Perfect Match By GP After finding the carrier (very little info provided) got the equipt in perfect conditions Installation was easy. As stated in other reviews the installation flier(no manual) could be much better. After all install was done decided to contract an A/C pro to test system for leaks, make the vacuum on the pipes and finally open the gas. One hour of paid work gave me peace of mind on the final stage. The system worked as expected on both cooling and heating the 550sqf. The inside unit is a little noisy. Otherwise excellent choice.
