After enduring five Aaryanna by hot summers in my new place, I decided finally to a portable room air conditioner to help beat the heat gain. After some searching, I have this Sharp unit. I liked the sleek design and simple installation diagrams on the outside of the box. $ 50 instant rebate at the time also helped - a lot. The device comes with several panels on the outside vent installation support. The 5 "diameter flexible hose seemed kind of G-Normous comes out of the box, but the semi-rigid design has a built-in screw-type segmentation -. This makes it easy to hand the hose in a twist) the device itself and b) display adapter - no tools required. How cool is that? It took me about 20 minutes to install the adapter in the window frame outside my window (with only a small "screw and drilling), but when I turned my unit - I could not believe 1) the device is being quiet and 2) How really cold air came out. Hallelujah! My two cats so funny as a unit set. But both failed to find favorite places - Lee - who has become their preferred nesting sites during the day. Who says that cats are stupid? A / C vents on the front seemed small at first. But open automatically (to help keep the unit clean) - and their small size - actually helps to increase the speed of airflow for greater projection. I closed the door to all my other local - to limit the fresh air to the kitchen / dining room and living room. I have no idea how close this area comes to the recommended maximum of 400 square meters. My place is with air conditioning, but I am glad to see much, if I can do without them all summer to life with a multitude of fans in the room - and even a house dehumidifier (which was much more their own heat ventilation and rear) - I can already say that this summer promises to be a comfortable experience I've become one. The Sharp portable a / c with a remote source - who used to check the settings. There is only one power button and some lights on the device itself. I use the automatic control - set to the desired temperature - and the machine does the rest. Even if the temperature is reached - the camera switches to a mode of reducing production costs - again with a little fresh air out. Nice. But even if the device is turned on - it's much quieter than my fans and my turn many old room dehumidifier. It is also much, much quieter than my dishwasher. And almost as quiet as my fridge, if he goes. Also to see how much air flow out - and it was surprisingly hard and exhaust temperature was quite warm - I said how much heat transfer actually happened. Nice. Since I use my dining table, desk - when I work at home - with Sharp portable a / c only a few feet makes me so cool I always wanted to be - all year round. My overall energy costs down in order to have this new Sharp Portable a / c? I do not see why not - because I did not chill my place. However, only time will tell. For now - I could not be happier - or more comfortable. I think that's all - to be a very good summer. If you can afford the cost in advance - it's worth. Please do not miss.
